The operation of fleshing has evolved from hand tools to machine operated processes. Today, the fleshing operation is done by a Fleshing Machine where Spiral of Helical Fleshing Blades or Fleshing Strips, fitted on a cylinder is rotated at high speed against the flesh side of the hide to remove the unwanted subcutaneous materials
